Menopause – Have you ever talked about it?

Have you ever talked to your boss about the menopause?

Or with your husband? Or with your girlfriends?

No, never.

You’re not the only one.

It’s uncomfortable to talk about it. You immediately feel uncomfortable when you have to talk about it.

We’ve been brought up not to make a fuss about it. «Just get on with it». That was the motto.

This feeling is frustrating! Yes, frustrating.

But it’s not just frustrating because women and men start to understand the value of helping women through menopause.

  • The marriage doesn’t fall apart.
  • The women stay in the company and are productive.
  • Companies can increase productivity and profits.

The possibilities are endless for those who figure it out.

In fact, they’re just getting started. Look at some of these statistics:

  • The highest divorce rate in many countries is between the ages of 45-50
  • 1,000,000,000 women worldwide are in menopause
  • 150’000’000’000 USD is the loss of productivity due to menopause

Madness.

Anyone who clings to the idea that menopause is «ridiculous» or «overblown» and does NOT see it as a huge personal and business opportunity is wrong.

So what’s the catch?

The catch is that it doesn’t happen overnight. Dealing with the menopause properly is a long journey. It’s a journey.

You have to put yourself first. You are the most important thing. Take time every day to talk about your situations, challenges and experiences.

This is the first step to taking control of your menopause – both at home and at work.

The Women Circle organises regular physical meetings «Meno Health. Meet-up in a safe environment.

The next meet-up is on Thursday 11 May 2023 7pm in Zurich

If you can’t be there, we have a challenge for you.

Talk to someone close to you about your menopause today.

Do it again the next day. Repeat it…

We hope you’ll join us.
